Come in a group

Information and offers for groups in the social field

Come in a group

Organize a group tour to bring your audiences to discover other cultures! A place of dialogue, tolerance and opening out onto the world, the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac pays special attention to welcoming all audiences, especially those who are isolated from cultural practices.

To encourage groups from the social sector, the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac offers a large choice of activities, for all ages and at very low rates. Several options are offered (by reservation only):

Independent tour

Come for free with your group to tour the permanent collections or a temporary exhibition and conduct the tour yourself. We offer authorizations for the escort to guide the tour.

To better prepare your tour:

  • participate in an awareness tour
  • consult the on-line resources
  • visit the museum for free and find the site of your group tour in advance (permanent collections or temporary exhibitions), accompanied by two people: to gain access to the area for free before your group tour, you just have to show confirmation of your group tour reservation at the ticket office.

Guided tour

Duration : 1hr or 1.5hr

Do you want to be accompanied in your discovery of the permanent collections or the temporary exhibitions? Our lecturer-guides have been trained to adapt to groups of all ages and they are familiar with the specific aspects of the social field (people learning French, Youth Judicial Protection Services, people unfamiliar with museums, etc.).

Advice

To inform the lecturer in advance on the profile of your group, don’t hesitate to leave the information when you make your reservation. On the day of your tour, don’t forget to spend a few minutes introducing your group (specific aspects of your group, your plans, possible difficulties…) and don’t hesitate to speak up during your tour (questions, comments, etc.).
