Support the museum
The patrons and sponsors have played a key role ever since the opening of the Museum and provide essential support for the Museum's numerous projects. The Museum strives to conceive events that are adapted to its sponsors by sharing its values with them.
The museum is a cultural hub as well as an area where the Arts and Civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas are showcased. As such, it offers a rich and varied cultural program where performances, projections, workshops and mediation activities linked to diversity, solidarity, accessibility, research and sustainable development animate the Museum's daily life.
The Patronage & Philanthropy Department is at your disposal to design a customised patronage or sponsorship package.

a wide range of projects for Patrons and Sponsors
These include exhibitions, live performances, acquisition and restoration of works of art, activities in the teaching and research fields, projects aimed at greater accessibility, education, scientific studies, international cooperation, initiatives to encourage sustainable development, cultural diversity, as well as initiatives in the social field : a great deal of projects in which private individuals and companies may be included.
tailored contribution packages
Tailored contribution packages are available for companies and private individuals in France and abroad through patronage and sponsorship, whether financial, “in kind”, or using skills contribution.
Large companies and SMBs, both French and international, as patrons and financial sponsors, in-kind, artifact- or skill- donors, annually or multi-annually.
Patrons have a major role at the very heart of museum life. They are granted benefits in accordance with the donation (entrance tickets, annual passes, PR events organization). They benefit from personalized visibility depending on the project supported and their patronage strategy. There are various options: collaboration with project communication plan (poster, publication, information material for the public...), dedicated page on the museum website, joint press releases, long-term inclusion on the patrons wall in the museum and more. They also attend key events such as opening nights or dedicated private tours.
Sponsorship gives companies the option to manage particular operations: product launch, promotional filming, brand promotion, etc. The museum supports this commercial approach by implementing specific communication and PR initiatives.
French and international, financial donation or artifact donation.
Patrons and Donors
Individuals can support the museum’s major projects and thus contribute to extending its influence. They can also enrich the collections through gifts of artifacts, after examination by the museum’s acquisitions commission. Their name is included on the patrons’ wall in the museum.
