Two study days will bring together philosophers, architects, sociologists and anthropologists to debate the concepts of seduction, illusion and impossible exchange in tribute to the thinking and works of Jean Baudrillard.
Based on the links developed by Jean Baudrillard and Jean Nouvel between architecture and philosophy, three half days of discussions were held on the ideas of radical space, dual space and primitive space.
These study days highlighted one of the most unique notions of our era, the uncategorisable and free thinking of the author of over thirty works, including The Consumer Society, Seduction and Symbolic Exchange and Death which will serve as the centre of the discussions during the morning dedicated to primitive space.
Jean Nouvel himself, a friend of Jean Baudrillard, opened this event which was attended by Paul Virilio, Philippe Descola, Alain Touraine, Boris Groys, Françoise Gaillard, Paolo Fabbri, François L’Yvonnet, Candido Mendes, Sylvère Lotringer, Enrique Valiente Noailles, François Séguret and many more.
