Hearing disability

The museum provides activities and devices adapted to the deaf and hard of hearing: guided tours using lip reading and Cued Speech, induction loops, subtitling, etc.

Advance booking is strongly recommended, even for visitors eligible for free admission. To book a time slot, go to the online ticketing service page.

Groups with disabilities can also return to the museum from 9 June. To organise a visit for your group, go to the “Group visits” page.

The museum is delighted to have been awarded the French Tourisme & Handicap [Tourism & Disabilities] label for adaptation to people with motor, mental, aural or visual impairments!

IN THE EXHIBITIONS

All of the videos in the exhibitions are subtitled.

Each audio source has an integrated induction loop.

Cultural activities

To explore the museum and its exhibitions independently with friends or as a family…
Two guided tours using lip reading and Cued Speech are run twice yearly.

The museum also runs subtitled workshops, events, performances and conferences accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing.

Explore the museum as a group

Associations, schools, specialised establishments, etc. You can book an activity for your group for the date of your choice. Book at least 15 days in advance and remember to provide any useful information regarding your group so that the tour guide can best adapt the visit.
